What Is Frass?
If you've never heard the word frass before, you're not alone.

In Black Soldier Fly production, BSFL consume suitable organic feedstocks as they grow. The resulting frass contains insect manure along with remaining organic material and insect-derived material, depending on how the larvae are raised and how the finished product is processed.

The larvae eat the organic material.

And the material remaining from that process becomes frass.
